Shailer-Ryde write songs Shailer Ryde Music has worked on several musical projects including the upcoming World Cup 2006 song “Come on England (Time for Glory)” and "Better than the Best", written especially for Phil Taylor the 13 times World Darts Champion. Tony Shailer - Lyricist Lyricist Tony Shailer is the song-writing half of the partnership with experience of 25 years in the business. His lyrics span various genres from rock, MOR and dance to pop and ballads. He is now based in Hertfordshire, where he writes from his office at home, having previously been based in London and Kent. With over 250 songs to his name. Tony has had many of these lyrics turned into working pieces, several of which have been in collaboration with his music partner Mike Ryde. The pair have been working together for over three years and have written and produced songs for various artists. Mike Ryde - Musician/Song Writer The musical half of the Shailer Ryde partnership is Mike Ryde who owns and runs Paget Studios. Also in South West Hertfordshire, he has been writing and producing his own music and that of other artists for over 20 years and has work aired on the BBC and SKY TV as well local Radio. Working out of his studio Mike produces songs for a number of artists and collaborates with other musicians for various projects. Like Tony, his musical styles and influences come from many different genres.
